LED Light Therapy Facial Mask 


LED, or Light Emitting Diode, Light Therapy is a painless, non-invasive anti-aging approach that works by using photodynamic technology on a cellular level. Because our skin is transparent, it has the ability to absorb light and transfer that energy to stimulate a healing response. LED light therapy is often compared to the process of photosynthesis. It stimulates the bodys own cells to build new proteins (such as ATP) in the same way that plants convert sunlight into new cells. When the ATP levels increase in our skin, this also stimulates basic fibroblast growth factor (BFGF) and epidermal growth factor (EGF), and promotes new cell synthesis. This process will create a chain reaction in the skin which re-arranges collagen fibers, helps block and even eliminate melanin formation, accelerates cell growth, speeds up circulation, stimulates the production of collagen, and increases skin elasticity. All of this will help repair and reverse the signs of aging, eliminate acne, reduce pigmentation, and promote tighter, more youthful skin. Studies have shown that when skin is exposed to LED light, hydration is increased by 600%, and skin cells regenerate at a rate of 200% faster than average.


Each color of light has its own frequency and vibration, therefore promoting different responses within the cells. The colors of this LED Light Therapy Mask include: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, Cyan, and White. See below for a description of each color and how it effects the skin.

RED: 650nm. Red LED Light has the ability to reach down into all the layers of the skin (through tissue up to 1”!) where it rejuvenates, stimulates collagen production, prompts cellular repair, and increases circulation promoting a more vibrant and youthful complexion. Red LED lights work synergistically to deliver optimal skin rejuvenation. Is ideal for deeper lines and wrinkles, scarring, promoting a more even skin tone, and burning fat.

BLUE: 462nm. Blue LED light has been proven to have powerful anti-bacterial properties that have the ability to kill the acne causing bacteria, P. acnes. It prevents and treats acne. Blue light helps to purify the skin, stabilize oil glands, and soothe inflammation. Blue light also helps to stimulate and tighten sagging skin and jowls.

GREEN: 527nm. Green light is absorbed into the skin where it has a calming effect. It helps to lighten hyper-pigmentation spots revealing a brighter complexion. The calming effect also has anti-inflammatory properties that soothe the surface of the skin. Green LED Therapy is used to treat dilated capillaries, sagging skin around the eyes, under eye circles, hyperpigmentation and sun spots, even sagging breasts, and is very effective for sebaceous cysts.

YELLOW: 610nm. Yellow light reduces the appearance of redness, swelling, and inflammation. This color of light is beneficial for rosacea and treating burns such as sunburns. Yellow light also stimulates the production of red blood cells in the skin and is effective in treating abnormal pigmentation (hypo and hyper), improving lymphatic function, and stimulating circulation.

PURPLE: 600nm. Purple LED light therapy increases cell regeneration. It decreases the telomeres of DNA in the cell to essentially bring it back to a stem cell-like (brand new cell) state so that it can divide and create new cells. Purple light also reduces fine lines, and stimulates additional lymphatic drainage.

CYAN: 470nm. Cyan light is a gentle acne treatment, an anti-inflammatory, reduces swollen capillaries, and helps relieve stress. The Cyan light can adjust the gland function of skin and improve oily skin, and at the same time, promote the synthesis of protein and collagen.

WHITE: 590nm. Considered the “combination light” White light is a combination of the Red, Blue, and Green Lights and is effective in treating wounds, acne, rosacea, fine lines/ wrinkles, abnormal pigmentation, regulates mood, and increases transdermal absorption of nutrients into the dermis level of the skin.


  1. Cleanse the skin and allow to dry before applying the mask. You may apply any clear serums to the skin at this time as well.

  2. Remove the LED mask from the box, then take out the power control box. Connect the power supply line from the mask, and plug into the wall. This will turn on your mask.

  3. Press the Color Select/ Startbutton. The default time is 30 minutes. Again, press the Color Select/ Startbutton to select your light color of choice. (01-07 is red, blue, green, yellow, purple, cyan, and white. 08 is the automatic and all colors will be displayed for a few seconds each)

    You may increase or decrease your time alloted by pressing the Time ↑” and Time ↓” to adjust to individual needs, 0-60 minutes.
    You can also adjust the brightness/intensity of a color (01-09), or add
    flickerif you choose to wear the lights in a flashing mode.

    Microelectronicswill regulate the stregth of the microcurrent function (01-09), according to the individuals needs.

  4. Place the mask over the face in a comfortable position. We recommend (especially if not using the microcurrent function) placing cottonballs over the top two microcurrent points on the forehead, as the mask can become a bit uncomfotable after a few minutes.

    Adjust the tightness of the band to fit comfortably around your head. You want it to fit snug, but not too tight, as this can become uncomfortable.

  5. After the completed time (generally 15-30 minutes), the power control box will shut off automatically. At this time, you may remove the mask. Be sure to wipe down the mask with isopropyl alcohol, especially if any creams or serums were used.


  1. As much as possible, try to avoid direct light into the eyes. Do not stare into the light for long periods of time. For safety, it is recommended to close your eyes during this treatment, however it is not necessary. You may also apply cotton pads to the eyes for precautions if you feel necessary.

  2. Due to the mask being made of plastic, there is likely an odor when first opening the package. This is normal, and the smell will soon dissipate.

  1. The luminous film inside the circuit and LED light emitting body cannot be squeezed or folded.

  2. The LED light mask can NOT be immersed in water. You may use a damp cloth or isopropyl alcohol only. The elastic band, however, can be removed to be washed if necessary.

  3. Avoid letting mask sit in excessive heat or sun light.

  4. Do NOT use on children, pregnant women, those with thyroid issues, or anyone  sensitive to light.
